London City Psychotherapy Online Eleanor Rockell MSc MBACP

Psychotherapy and Counselling for the City & East London - I am currently only offering therapy sessions on Zoom.

I am an experienced, qualified and registered therapist based in Bethnal Green in East London. I have been a practising therapist for eighteen years having worked in the NHS and now in private practice. I am committed to providing psychotherapy and counselling in a confidential and non-judgmental environment. I am a registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists BACP and work within their code of ethics. I have been assessed and awarded The Certificate of Proficiency.

I work with individuals on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.

People come to therapy for many different reasons, the issues, thoughts and feelings that are explored in therapy are very individual. Life can feel overwhelming and psychotherapy can help you gain clarity and insight into who you are, what you believe in and what you most want from life. It can also provide support during difficult times in life and help alleviate distress.

Therapy may help people with the following:

  • Depression, sadness and feelings of emptiness
  • Feeling stressed and anxious
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Loss and bereavement
  • Difficult or traumatic experiences - in childhood or as an adult
  • Pregnancy and parental concerns or issues
  • Sexuality issues
  • Lacking confidence, self-esteem or having feelings of under-achievement
  • Feelings of meaninglessness & lacking a sense of purpose
  • Obsessive thoughts and compulsions
  • Suicidal thoughts and despair
  • Anger

This is a list to give you some idea of some of the concerns that bring people into therapy.

My psychotherapy and counselling practice is in Bethnal Green, East London, E2 within the Borough of Tower Hamlets and in easy reach of Old Street, Bethnal Green, Liverpool Street, Mile End, Hackney, Canary Wharf, and the City. My practice is easily accessible - in London Zone 2 less than a two minute walk from the Central line. There is also street parking available. However, I am at this time only seeing clients over Zoom.

To make further enquiries or to arrange an appointment please email me.
